My review of 7 Days on the Norwegian Cruise Line Ship ESCAPE. A brand New Ship.

I am just back from a 7 day cruise on the Norwegian Cruise Line ship ESCAPE. We visited several islands the U.S Virgin Islands, the British Virgin Islands and Nassau Bahamas. The ESCAPE is a Brand New ship…..and it had a Lot to offer….Plenty of stuff to do on those days we were At sea.

Nice tan or dark lighting? Sounds like a lot of fun.

If you pay to get on the ship, why do they charge you an additional $13.00 per day to be on the ship? Seems a bit double dipping.

Walter we just went on royal carribean and we did the “my time” dining where you don’t deal with the buffet nor do you pay extra. As for the kids I think after a day or two they get bored and restless. Overall my wife and I love cruises and in reality it’s much more economical in the long run when you add up the food and other amenities. We are planning our next one . We usually sail from Miami and haven’t been on Norwegian yet. As for working out I just do hundreds of squats and pushups to burn the food and beer off lol.

I can’t stand to be around kids when I’m on vacay. Keep those little bastids at home.

CoachCarroll says:

Did they have a gym on the cruise? And did you lift there?

I have been on just two cruises in my like: Holland America Rotterdam and Royal Caribbean Enchantment of the seas. In both cases, fortunately, the food was incredible (buffets and sit downs). The drinks wound up being a major expense each time, and I was pretty much worn out by the third day of overeating, over drinking, and running all over the place with shore excursions and other activities. My advice to first time or repeat cruisers is to pace yourself. You don’t want to have to be brought home on a stretcher. I’m glad you told me about the food on that ship. I wonder if it was the particular ship or Norwegian in general?

Walter, you should be used to heat you live in Atlanta.
