What is the quietest part of the ship to stay in? Light sleeper here. Looking to book a room with two single beds. Thanks

Stacy Phillips says:

Should change title to dinning options vs food options since you never talked about the food in detail, show any menus and have only 1 food pic.

baritonebynight says:

QM2 is NOT a cruise ship!!!

Kiwi NZL says:

This looks more like a cruise for the upper class

benzathine says:

Thank you Bonnie, we are crossing next week and I plan to add 2″s to my waistline LOL.

Mike Harms says:

I never liked the idea of formal nights you’re on holiday or vacation depending on your perspective I have a feeling even if I did get a queen’s Grill class stateroom I would still be dining at the king’s court or the Golden Lion Pub l am not for studious about such things have a great day

Notice the background music to this video. Cunard think string quartetsare cool. Even in their version of an English pub. I have yet to find a pub on land that has a string quartet in house.

We use the Queen Mary 2 to travel between the US and Europe and have enjoyed many good meals in the Kings Court and Britannia Dining Room . The Golden Lion does good pub food as well. The chefs do a wonderful job.

tatc says:

Is it possible to request special meals (dietary requirements)?

peter smith says:

Robert M says:

Charles Laurie-Magyar says:

American ships are much better.

TacitusMS1 says:

thanks for sharing ! I’m booked for September.

Jynx Jynx says:

As I don’t like to fly, we cross on the QM2 whenever I have to go to the UK and a sailing is available. We’ve never eaten in the King’s Court although we have taken advantage of some of the other venues for a bit of nosh. Generally however, we prefer to take our meals in the Queen’s Grill. None better, afloat!

0:20 SHES AN OCEAN LINER! NOT A CRUISE SHIP!

Barbara Greenberg says:

Each and every member of the dining room and galley staff is attentive to, and respectful of, every conceivable dietary request or requirement.
