Good-video, thanks. We’re going in a couple weeks, first time on this ship, done carnival several times as well as royal Caribbean and Disney, curious how celebrity compares, I think your video gives us an idea what we can expect.

I recently sailed to Alaska on the sister ship, Solstice. Nice. The passengers were so old…How old were they? They were calling me “Sonny”. I’m 76. Instead of an upper deck running track, they had a track for electric wheel chairs. If you use Celebrity, go “Aqua” Class. Sea days create an overcrowded mob scene that looks like the feeding frenzy of the Locusts from, “The Good Earth”.

We will be on this same ship this weekend for a 7-day cruise. Thank you for the insight.

My 1st cruise ever was Celebrity Century 2003. I’m planning to do Equinox for my cruise number 14! Actually exactly this cruise. I just LOVED Celebrity. I broke my ankle just few hrs before the cruise! Got crutches and had to rent a wheelchair bc you know for a fact I was going to my cruise!! LOL.. Once in there, they treated me so nice!! They were pushing my chair while another waiter was picking what I wanted from the buffet!!! They did this few times during my cruise. Everyday they would ask me how my ankle was and always helping me. The food was exquisite and the service superb!!! Can’t wait to do Celebrity again!! Thanks so much for your video!

We are considering sailing with Celebrity. We usually cruise on NCL but would like to try something new. Very nice video. Enjoyed the music!

I was on this ship for 11 days on the trip just before yours. Had a good time…despite the average age being on the old side. Latin Night was the most fun night on our ship…and the silent disco was a blast too.

Guess it’s always a trade-off, this ship had a great layout, food service was really good, drinks service up top at the pools was great, shows were mostly really good….but, activities on ship days could have been better and also the energy level overall could have been better. Oh well….

Nice touches…..the cold towels getting back on ship.,the champagne on embarkation, cloth towels in the public bathrooms.

Dined at Tuscan Grille one night….which was really good…but honestly was happy with the food every night in the main dining room. Sommelier was great. Loved the little smoothie/juice bar outside by the spa. Oh, and the specialty bar on level 5 (World Bar, i think) was awesome. Ice bar was cool…and the bartenders were pretty talented.

Thx for your vid….I’ve always said i should do one since i’m pretty opinionated and want to help others out, but never seem to find the time….

Oh thank goodness! From the caption I was worried. Just booked a 7 day on this ship for Mom and I. She is disabled so service and food quality are very important.

Have been on this ship a couple of times. Celebrity is a cut above the other cruise lines. Yes they do cater to the senior citizens except when school is out and then there are lots and lots of younger people.

We just got back from the Western Caribbean Cruise July 23.  It was not the best cruise we have been on:  There were way Too many children than normally on a Celebrity cruise.  It felt like Ghetto meets Celebrity.  When I went to Gest services to complain, a few people already beat me to it.  I was in the solitarium “Adult only space” one morning with a few other Repeat cruisers and it was like a meeting, they were all really upset with the changes and the fact that they allowed so many children to ruin their vacations.  The Private Dining is the best however,  The Murano was our Favorite. Hopefully, Celebrity trains their staff to deal with “Ghetto” people and their misbehaving children in the future.

You got to learn to slow down when videoing, don’t video as if you are looking around yourself, give the viewer the opportunity to take in what you are viewing.

Going in two weeks, this was so helpful…
