Ryan Syler says:

I’ve been on two Viking Ocean cruises and one Viking River cruise. I’ve never had a better experience. I consider the Viking fleet my home away from home. Viking sets the bar so high that almost every other cruise experience will pale by comparison.

Have you ever been on a Viking Ocean or River Cruise? Would you like to go on the new Viking Orion? Let us know below!

Carol McElheney says:

My husband and I recently took the Orion on the Marco Polo cruise from Athens to Thailand; or it was supposed to be. I came down with Typhoid in Sri Lanka and we were put off the ship there and I spent 10 days in the hospital there and had to buy tickets home in addition to the flights that were included from Thailand. We are still negotiating with our travel insurance. It was a very unpleasant experience with the ship’s medical staff not to mention missing half of the cruise of a lifetime. The medical staff at the Sri Lanka hospital were wonderful BTW as was the very sweet and helpful Port Captain. Despite this, the ship was wonderful, and this was our second Viking cruise. The staff was friendly and very competent and the food was excellent (until I got sick and lost my appetite). I think I picked up the bug on an excursion in Egypt. Get your shots!

Allen Gordon says:

Viking Ocean is great. Love the no nickel and dime attitude. No casino , no art sales, no pesky photographers. Viking has more respect for their passengers. Have now done 3 Viking Rivers and 3 Viking Oceans. Number 4 of each already booked. The Viking attitude and service comes through on all of their ships and boats. The attitude is why so many of their people have come to Viking from other lines. Try it once and you’ll be hooked.
