Things got a little rough on April 6, 2016, as Royal Caribbean’s “Anthem Of The Seas” cruise ship sailed the open waters of the Atlantic on the way back home to New York harbor and her home port of Bayonne, New Jersey.
I got to swim in the pool earlier in the day before they finally closed them off and drained them. It was a lot of fun as all the water in the pool sloshed around with the motion of the ocean!
Even rougher ocean conditions are predicted for the next day… so there may very well be a more dramatic sequel to this video.

Was on this cruise and movement wasn’t bad
When is the next cruise Jim?
Wow!! Quite the rocky weather!!
Why not just drain the pool….hello?
Is that a shark caught in the pool net?!?!
Maybe it will improve my love life lol
whoa im sea sick just from watching. Hope you and Kellyn still had a great vacation!
have to keep in mind that this is on deck 14. The motion on the ship is felt more the higher one goes.
I have a video of our cruise with some brief pool action towards then end. The ship wasn’t rocking to much, but definitely had some pitch going into the waves.
thought that was a body in the pool.. silly me, haha!!
When I went on the anthem on late June we hit a little storm with rough waves the indoor swimming pool had atleast two feet waves and it was still open so everyone was playing in the waves including me cause I’m still a kid but it was soooo fun.
