Osaka, Japan: Golden Princess, Asia Cruise Vlog10 (2018)

Japan vlog: Join me for a crazy day in Osaka Japan! We only had one day here so we got on the train and managed to visit the Shitennoji temple, Tennogi zoo and Tempozan Ferris wheel. We also did a bit of shopping (shopping in Japan is CRAZY) and visited some capsule shops!

I hope this video will give you some ideas about what to do and see when visiting Osaka. It may also prepare you for the immigration that you’ll have to go through to get off the ship. In total it took us two hours to get off the ship and get through immigration.

I LOVED Japan and would 100% recommend it to anybody. Please leave me a comment letting me know if you’ve ever visited Asia or if you’d like too.

Getting around Osaka was so easy, the daily train ticket cost us around £5. The trains were frequent and the maps were relatively easy to navigate despite being in Japanese.

Hi Emma we were on the same cruise, you should have video the huge Q of passengers trying to get back on the ship when we stopped at Siagon (Ho chi min city). Great cruise we really enjoyed it, just remembering that very wet day!
Hope you enjoyed your time in Tokyo, we stopped at the Inter continental Hotel in Tokyo bay, great hotel.

hi Emma my husband and I loved the cruise, we got on well with all the American and Ozzy’s passengers. Our favourite port of call was Hong Kong. We both love cruising especially, Cunard, P&O, Celebrity and Princess.
I have to admit though Emma you couldn’t pay me to go on a MSC cruise. Carry on cruising

Correct, the urinals in the ladies bathroom was for little boys. You also noticed how clean the restroom was.

Slippery slope at Shitennoji?? Google translate?? Very interesting!! The bathroom & toilet were both really interesting! I don’t have any desire to see Japan!! My father was stationed in Asaka, Japan during WW2 – I have his b&w photos from things he saw in Japan – beautiful temples – but mostly things were not bright & colorful!! Amazes me that we (US) were once at war with Japan & after we dropped atomic bombs on them – after the war we helped them rebuild into the amazing, busy country that it now is – full of truly unique things!! I went to Hawaii in 1983 – saw Pearl Harbor – but even way back then – the influence of Japan was all over Oahu (like the food photos at the sushi/Japanese restaurants)! East definitely meets West in Oahu!!
The Ferris wheel was neat! So now you’ve been under a cruise ship and saw one from above!!
